Is there a trial period or money-back guarantee?
BeTheHost offers a full 30-day money back guarantee. No questions asked. If you are not happy for any reason, cancel your BeTheHost service within 30 days of signup and your full setup fee and monthly costs will be refunded. The only exception to a refund is if you violate BeTheHost Terms of Service (TOS) or Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Violations of the TOS or AUP usually are due to spamming, hacking, and/or illegal content. Please note that the 30-day money back guarantee applies to the BeTheHost services only.

How am I billed?
BeTheHost invoices you via email. You can request a statement via email as well, at any time. A secure web interface is provided for online viewing of your account invoices/statements. BeTheHost accepts Visa™, MasterCard™, American Express™, Discover™, and PayPal™.

What if the hardware fails?
BeTheHost stocks replacement parts for all servers. BeTheHost is always building new servers for our shared hosting clients, as well as our dedicated server clients, so a full inventory of parts is maintained. Hardware failures are uncommon, but they do happen, and are a part of the hosting business. BeTheHost repairs all failed hardware promptly, to minimize any downtime caused by such.

Are there any hidden costs?
No. All costs are stated plainly on our website. We do not hide fees in fine print, or in our terms of service pages. The only costs that are commonly found to occur beyond your expected flat monthly rates per service are those due to increased package features or bandwidth usage. Pricing for such is plainly stated on our website. BeTheHost very often will allow you to upgrade your packages to the next size up, should you see an increase in features required or bandwidth usage for the current month, and not want to pay for such additional usage. Disk space usage and availability, as well as estimated bandwidth usage, is available to you in the majority of the control panel versions included with our services.

Do you have any Cpanel/WHM demos?
Yes, if you goto our site BeTheHost and click on the demos link you can view flash demos about many of the features that are included in your Cpanel area.

What happens if I decide to leave BeTheHost?
You are free to leave at any time. Generally, BeTheHost services are provided on a month-to-month basis, without any required term contract. Some special offers, or custom quoted solutions, may have required contract terms and/or signed contract requirements. All advance payments will be refunded should you decide to leave.

Can you help us switch host?
If you need help moving your stuff from your old host we are here to help. After you order, submit a ticket to our support department with your old hosting account information, they will need your user name & password. If it's a reseller account please make sure to include the reseller password and information. There is no charge for us moving your stuff.

What type of support do you offer? Average Response Time?
BeTheHost offers support to our clientele 24/7/365 web based ticket system, phone, & AOL Instant Messenger. We strive for response times of no more than a few hours for general support issues. Response times of just a few minutes are quite common during normal business hours, or for reboots/emergencies. BeTheHost has recently implemented a web based support ticket system, which integrates all incoming support email into it. The ticket system tracks support inquires by "time waiting” for response from the support dept.
